Anyone from March group has received the test invite? apart from CrystalChang?

Guys, there is an update on IRCC website that specifically requests applicants whose oath ceremonies were cancelled in March because of COVID-19 to send a request through webform. This might speed up the process a little bit and you might receive your oath invite if you contact them.

Here's what it says :

Contact us through the Web form if you

  • had a ceremony scheduled on or before March 15, 2020, and
  • haven’t received an invitation for a video oath ceremony.

Here's the link : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html

Choose the following options :

1. What did you apply for? = Citizenship
2. Which citizenship application? (required) = Becoming a Canadian Citizen (grant of Citizenship)
3. Click on 'Video oath ceremony (virtual citizenship ceremony)'

anyone got Oath recently ? my wife application received at office at Mar 13 2019 & Oath has been cancelled on March 18 2020 , then they requested for Finger prints as they expired application status changed to IN PROCESS .. recently status changed to DECISION MADE again , any idea how much time it took recently to get Oath ceremony date after DECISION WAS MADE .. in the past on the day one should be getting Oath date also ..

Check one of my previous posts . IRCC has explicitly mentioned on their website requesting people whose oaths were cancelled in March to send a request through webform.

Hi Raj ,
Our date is March 18th , which is after March 15th .. i wonder we still qualify , i did sent email to IRCC about delay in processing .. Its unfair delay of processing on their end brings already DECISION MADE brought to IN PROCESS which really pushed us to this year ..

Well, I would still send a request to IRCC - It was a 3 day gap. Sending them a webform query can't hurt.

I understand your frustration but you are not alone. Your frustration is shared by many but the pandemic did what it did best - disrupt people's lives. Immigration officers are humans too. However, I am seeing some progress with testing lately and I sincerely hope that you get your oath request at the earliest.

Good luck!

Hello all, After a really long wait, I received an email of notification about appearing for my online citizenship test and have 21 days to complete it.....I remember, they sent me my first invite in January 2020 and I missed it, I never received an email or nothing.....it was just simply updated on my CIC profile....well, after 12 months I receive this invite.....All the best for the others who are still waiting...I had sent out my Citizenship application in March 2019.
Hi, what day did you receive your test invite? The tracker is not up to date.

Hello, do we have any members here who have appeared for the virtual test and now their status has changed from "In process" to "decision made" and do you know how long does it take for them to contact you via email after the status change and what are the next steps.

Congratulations! I think this depends on the processing office. Which office is processing your file. And when did you give test and when status changes to the decision made.

Good luck with next steps.
