Hi there, any update after you submitted your FP again. I am on the same page as you, they send me FP request again last week, I did mine last Sat. And so I am waiting for updates, but don’t know how long. Thanks
Hi,
I have done it last friday as well almost week ago, it is is mailed to Ircc vancouver by Rcmp three days ago... instead of oath got a email for fingerprint

Applied in March 2019 , AOR Oct 2019 since then no update no FP Request so is there anyone else on the same boat . Please advise , thnks

I applied in March 2019 as well. Received AOR in May 2019. In process since July 2019. Nothing after that

My application went back to In Process today.

What do you mean went back !!
Generally the status will progress forward

From what I've seen, when your fingerprints are over 1 year, they expire. The application goes back to In Process so they can send a request for a new FP certificate. Then, it's back to DM. Yeah, you're expecting an Oath invite, and it's FP again.

Ccastr , thanks a lot for your reply. It helps in my process.

Currently my status shows in process and CIC agent mentioned background checks are going on . I am April 2020 application..still long way to go for my process.

Good luck for the rest of your Process

I just looked into my PR status from Service Canada and there is no information about my Bio Metrics during that time.
I still remember that I do send my Biometric results to them during my PR

do you mean you can do it whenever you want within 21 days ? Do you have to book an appointment or can you sign in and do it in the middle of the night? I’m wondering because I thought a proctor had to watch you while you take it.
Congrats!

21 days to write. Yes you can choose any day or any time but once you decide to start then you should complete it at that time itself.
Steps are given here. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nadian-citizen/citizenship-test/tutorial.html

Update on my situation - I didn't realize that you have to be in Canada to take the test, so now the BIG PROBLEM for me is I'm still in Alaska with my partner, and I was not planning to go back to Canada till June 2021. Not sure what I should do now.
I could 1). go back to Canada in a rush and complete the online test. However I'd have to wait until I finally get the Canadian passport to be able to see my partner in US again, no idea how long it gonna take. I also don't have a place to live in Canada at this moment. (my partner is not Canadian so he can't come with me).
2). give up on this online test and wait until in-person test resumes. However no idea when that will be either :( Still have to fly back to Canada on short notice when that happens.
Any suggestions or insights on what's a better option? I really appreciate it!
