Great news. Good to hear that. Congrats and good luck with the test.

Could you let me know where and how did you do FP, thank you.

I did it in Malton on last Saturday.
I
just walked in . There was only one couple . I waited for 10 mins , after which mine took 10 mins. It cost me 60 dollars. They gave a receipt and immediately send to Police . They said within 10 working days it will be send to immigration authority.

Please update:

We started processing your application on July 24, 2019.

Hey guys, just checked my ECAS, in process as of July 23.

I noticed that my mailing address is not the correct one (home address is correct). I did update it one week ago via ECAS, but it still showing the wrong address. Does it take longer ? should I do mail forwarding ? I'm afraid to miss letters.

I think it usually takes upto 2 weeks when you change your address online. The fastest way is to call and update your address through the agents. Regarding the mail forwarding, Canada post doesn't forward any government mails at all. I moved from my old house two months ago but unfortunately they don't forward government mails and parcels.

I got the correspondence update in my ecas on 12th July. didn't receive anything. Called them on 18th July, agent said nothing has been sent so far and sometime ecas updates earlier than actual correspondence is sent. (didn't make sense). I called them again today and agent said correspondence was in fact sent on 12th July and check you spam folder etc. He said it is a fingerprint request and will send an email to the office to resend it. Interestingly, he didn't have a record of my 18th July conversation with the call centre. I think it is what it is. we just have to bear with it.
