Good afternoon,
I was thinking that after Citizenship , everything is tension free but I am facing hard time for my passport. I went to submit passport application on June 13 around 03:10pm and passport office suppose to close 04:00pm and my application was signed by my aunty as a guarantor but she forgot to sign on picture so they return my application with missing document form.. My aunty was in car with me that day so I went back , took signature on picture and missing form.. So I went back around 03:35pm so agent asked me how come u came back so early , I told her truth.. After 9 days they called to my aunty and asked when did she sign , she did not remember date , they asked did she sign twice or once .. She said not remember exactly but possible once.. She mixed things because she is co signer on my mortgage as well .. I got call back from passport office that your guarantor and your statement did not match , I explain them that she possible mix things.. They said to me to come passport office and give them written statement , I did and same they called to my aunty again to confirm and she confirm them that she did sign in car for me , they also require my aunty written statement, her 1 ID and few signatures on 1 paper.. She sent everything to them.. Today I got answer that under Section 9(1)(a) , they are rejecting my passport application because signature of guarantor is not matched with missing form only.. And there is section for future passport , apply with new application, new fee .. Plz advise if this can cause any problem to me if I apply again next week and this time guarantor will be different as well as she will stay in passport office with me?
I had almost thesame problem with my daughters Canadian passport application. Since they closed your application without any further prosecution, then you are fine. Also it wouldn't be a problem if you use thesame guarantor. Its also a good idea if your guarantor go with you this time to submit your passport application. But make sure you don't sign anything for anyone else. because now they have flagged your profile and would watch closely your next application.

I got fp request today, what i need to do? Where i need to go please help
The letter should have all the instructions. Google RCMP fingerprinting take the documents that the letter mentions. You can pay the fee there and they would dispatch it to the IRCC address that's on the letter. Once you do the fingerprinting it usually takes around 15 to 20 days for it to reach the IRCC. ( if all is clear) RCMP website gives out the complete timeline for it.

Guys I got my AOR few days ago. Im planning a long travel in August, probably for more than 6 months. I plan to come back for test and oath. Questions:

1) Any problem with this you might foresee?

2) Can I do fingerprints in advance (in the case that they are requested later). If no, can I do them abroad if requested?

I plan to divert my mail to a friend for that time period.

Thanks in advance for your answers..
