Alright. Thank you. I am not sure how this forum works; I just assumed there are a bunch of moderators for the forum that update the excel sheets from time to time... I did not know that there is a separate one for each month... because when I opened the google doc, I could see all the months in the tabs below! So, I assumed that any of the mods could do it! Anyway, I found the May thread and am working to get my info on it... I have tried posting a few times on it... so far, no luck!

On a second look, i do have access to other sheets and i see your username has already been added to the May sheet. Good luck!

I don't think that would be a reason to return the application. If I recall correctly, in the guidelines for filling out the form, it states quite clearly that you are not supposed to tape/staple/glue or in any way attach the photos or alter the photos in the application.

As per the guidelines for photo spec. they mentioned that we should write our name behind the photos

Photos are not altered its just I forgot to write my name.

Congrats for those receiving the AOR. It seems at least CIC team are working on March applicants with a bit lagging maybe because last long weekend. Fingers crossed again.

Just to let you know all to relax, I have called the CIC today morning and asked about my application. They confirmed that they have not opened yet. I am a March 25 applicant.

I am new to this Forum. My first post here is a piece of bad news. Today I called the CIC to check my application which was sent on March 1 and received on March 6 with the confirmation by Canada Post Tracking. However, I was told that they could not find my application as they are handling March 27 applications today. They said that they would investigate and I will be inform the investigation result after 30 days. I am in such bad luck, maybe I need to buy a lottery ticket to celebrate. Here is my thought: Is it better for me to send another application as soon as possible i.e. before I receive any of their investigation result? Can I use the same old application date, form and physical present day for the new application i.e. resend the same copy? Would any one have any suggestions for my case?

Ok so here's what I can suggest you. Don't wait only for the AOR email from CIC. Keep checking the Citizenship Application Status tool/page simultaneously. I am telling this since I received my AOR on 22nd May and all of a sudden when I checked Citizenship Application Status tool/page on May 24th I found that its updated there but till then there were no emails. CIC finally sent the email on May 27th around noon EST. And if you check the datasheet you will see that many people got AOR before me even they sent their application after my app received date.

Admin kindly update my(row 71) AOR date to 22nd May.

are u using the credentials (UCI number/file number) from PR stage to check the status?
