March - 2019 Citizenship Applications

I am new to this Forum. My first post here is a piece of bad news. Today I called the CIC to check my application which was sent on March 1 and received on March 6 with the confirmation by Canada Post Tracking. However, I was told that they could not find my application as they are handling March 27 applications today. They said that they would investigate and I will be inform the investigation result after 30 days. I am in such bad luck, maybe I need to buy a lottery ticket to celebrate. Here is my thought: Is it better for me to send another application as soon as possible i.e. before I receive any of their investigation result? Can I use the same old application date, form and physical present day for the new application i.e. resend the same copy? Would any one have any suggestions for my case?

Many ppl including me whose application was received before 27th haven't received their AOR yet. So I am not sure if we need to be worried or not. Mine was received on 20th

If they have lost something, they must have lost a whole bunch of applications. On the other hand even among people who received their AOR it seems to have taken longer on average than the previous month. So it is completely possible they are just lagging behind, especially after the Victoria Day weekend.

Mine was received on the 22nd March still no AOR. I'm also assuming that bcz of the long weekend they might be a bit behind. A little worried though, as a few 25 March applicants got AOR. Fingers crossed

I called CIC early this morning, they confirmed that they are processing on applications received at the end of March. He wasn't able to tell me if my file is open yet. I think this week will be decisive for March applicants. Finger crossed.

Alright. Thank you. I am not sure how this forum works; I just assumed there are a bunch of moderators for the forum that update the excel sheets from time to time... I did not know that there is a separate one for each month... because when I opened the google doc, I could see all the months in the tabs below! So, I assumed that any of the mods could do it! Anyway, I found the May thread and am working to get my info on it... I have tried posting a few times on it... so far, no luck!

I forgot to write my name behind the photos I provided, its a application for (2) me and my spouse. All the other information is there like photographers stamp and date.

Will my application get returned due to this ?

I don't think that would be a reason to return the application. If I recall correctly, in the guidelines for filling out the form, it states quite clearly that you are not supposed to tape/staple/glue or in any way attach the photos or alter the photos in the application.
