When I submitted my application, I was resident in the US. Now, I've been visiting Ghana for the past 4.5 months but did not update my web form since I had my mails forwarded. Do you guys think thats what is delaying the background checks?

I am in a similar situation like you but I applied when I was in Canada

I called again, my VO office is Sydney AOR 24th march. Eligibility still in process and Security not started. I guess might be stuck for a month or more.

Hello everyone, looking for some guidance. I received my GCMS notes yesterday. My eligibility status is Met. However, my proof of funds has a review required. Luckily, from the notes, I was able to figure out why there is a RR.

Can I submit a letter of explanation for my proof of funds saying that I got to know through the GCMS notes? Or is it better to not mention the notes and submit a new set of bank statements for the last 6 months.

My AOR is March 2nd and I'm nearing 8 months soon. My criminality is Passed and security background check hasn't been initiated yet. My application is at Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated!

My AOR Mar 2, still waiting...
I just call the IRCC from Vancouver BC and noticed that they are still reviewing my eligibility, the MEP, criminal, BIO pass.. She said not is the eligibility and the last step for security check...
VO Sydney nova scotia...

ps...the agent told me that now the processing will not be finished within 6 months, and she noticed that I have already passed the 7 months....
So be patient, we will get it but it just late!!

Please let me know when you got ppr, since we are in same vo, and almost same aor3.7

AOR March 15
Medicals Passed April 30th
Biometrics Requested April 30th
Biometrics Collected May 2nd
Got first GCMS Notes August (Criminality passed, Eligibility and Security Not Initiated, RR for stat question-USA & Spain Visa denial I guess)
Raised webform Sept 22nd and got a reply after about 10 days with same status as first GCMS
Ordered second GCMS Sept 23rd and got a response last week for 90 days extension
Logged on and saw Updated profile...then I quickly ran to my mailbox and found PPR mail
7 months and 8days
