Hi all,

I am an inland Express entry applicant under CEC from QC. AOR March 2019.

Medical is passed. Background check is in progress.

My PGWP is expiring soon. The CIC website says, candidates residing in QC are not eligible for BOWP.

I consulted with a lawyer and they said it is possible. I am confused here. Can I apply for BOWP by residing in Quebec?

Any updates for you guys? Praying for us all to get PPRs in June.
I hope we all should as I can see almost everyone has given their biometrics in the month of May or in the first of week of June.

Hey everyone! Nice to see ppl getting PPR . Definitely gives hope for everyone waiting! :D
Here is my timeline:
FSW - O (India)
AOR :
March 22
MEP : May 4th
BIL: May 24th
Biometrics Submission : May 28th
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision:
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Anyone else in the similar timeline? I have no idea in what stage this is, didnt really bother to read in depth about the stages until recently. So I dont think I read any ghost updates except for Medical passed and biometrics completed. Also any Architects/Interior designers here ?

We have a similar progress update. I couldn't figure out what stage too because I didn't get any ghost updates too.

Is there a difference between eligibility 'met' & 'recommended passed' ??
Recommended pass is not as sure as Met.

So stages of surety determine if someone has to look at your documents again. Recommended pass means the analyst is ok with things but wants Visa officer to take a quick look. Met means everything is in order.

Check your notes to see if there is any concern. If not, you are good to go even at Recommended Pass, which is what will happen 90% of the time.

So, recommended pass is worse than "met"? Then how about "review required"?
