Not really, the biometric data is used for security, which is the last stage, so there won't be any major delays.
Is it possible that biometric request is sent a couple of weeks after medical exam passed? For most cases that I knew they got biometric requests immediately after MEP, but I've been waiting for the request for more than three weeks now...

Normally BIL request comes a couple of days after MEP. Delay of 3 weeks is too long. Suggest you contact them.

There is no correlation between medicals and biometrics. For most it will fall one after the other, but certain delays are not uncommon. If you do not receive a biometric request after 2-3 weeks from when your medicals is passed, you should send a CSE and enquire.

Hi @legalfalcon

Will processing be faster if RPRF is paid upfront?

Thanks.
It will save you 1-3 weeks. When RPRF is requested, a request to pay is sent, then after you pay and submit the receipt, it is added to your file, verified, and then approved. This can take 1-3 weeks.

If you have paid it upfront, then you will save this time.

It is a matter of personal choice.

I discovered this thread today and I'm so glad.
My spouse is the principal applicant, and at some point, I was added to the application because we got married.

AOR was March 9.
Glad to be part of this thread

AOR March 12

it is PR application with Wife as primary - lives in the US, I'm dependent applicant living in Canada

At the end of Biometric Instruction Letter - the part FOR OFFICIAL USE AT BIOMETRIC COLLECTION SERVICE POINTS: only has my wife's name at the very end of the sheet - does it mean only she has to get the biometrics done?

Question1: Does Biometric sheet has only primary candidate's name?
Question2. Does Biometric need to happen for everyone in the application?

Thanks!
At some point, after you submit the additional documents to add yourself as a dependent, you will get the second BIL, the first one is for your wife only, you have to wait for yours.

hi
I am requested to upload 2 more countries police certificates... found it is a bit tight timeline - and I have 2 questions and appreciate help here:

(1) how to upload a police cert that will be posted by the government itself? should I upload proof of submission of police certificate like post receipt?
- Hong Kong: it requests me to have my current residing country to provide finger prints 1st and then post to them before they accept the application - and it may take another 4 weeks to post to IRCC...and I wont receive the police certificate as Hong Kong Police will post it to IRCC...
(2) Singapore:
I have my resident police certificate now- and I see the IRCC upload portal is asking the expiry date....which I don't know about it as it is not stated in the police certificate...anyone could provide any info?

thanks,
