I am a canadian citizen ,my husband is in kenya with my son and i live with my son in canada , i sent my application on early march , IRCC received on 5th march 2018 and i received AOR on 17 april 2018 , on 18th april 2018, my husband received an email to refill the schedule A form he filled it and i send it to mississauga on 20th april 2018 , i will be leaving to kenya after 3 days ,just wanted to know what are the next possible updates that i may receive ? Thank you

3. Receive Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR 1)
4. Link Application to Online Account
5. Upload Schedule A form
6. Sponsor Approval and File transfer to VO
7. VO start processing PR application (AOR 2)
8. Receive Request for Medical Exam
9. Medical Exam @ Physician Clinic
10. Medical Exam Result
11. Passport Request (PPR)
12. Pick-up Permanent Residency Visa (PUM)

as a citizen it won't if you will be away for a short time......and you are not moving out permanently.

Hi there again , i was asking if i already linked my application to an online account ,will i still receive updates about my application through email or do i have to sign in to my online account to check if there are any updates?

You will receive notifications in email and messages in online account.

Will advice you check online account.....sometimes you don't receive notifications in email.

1. Login to your Online Account (GCKey).........Welcome to GCKey
2. Accept Terms and Conditions
3. Provide Identity Validation
   
4. Click on “Check status and messages” button (Your Account page - In the View my submitted applications or profiles section)
5. Application/profile details screen

1. Application Status, etc (view)
   
2. Application Messages (view)

we did medical more than a month back and than file got transferreVO, can i apply for visitor visa, transfer of file email was after that, but seems like steps dont match.

Steps were, application recd with Schedule A and PCC,
AOR 1
SA - DM
Medical
Transfer to VO
now not sure how long it would take, is PPR last step, where does background check come in and how long does that take.

Its not unusual not to hear from IRCC for months after medical exam........the next step will be review of eligibility and background check which takes a while........so it good to assume spousal sponsorship process completion takes 12 months.......which could help reduce your waiting stress.........relax.........its a wait game.

Hi, someone help me out.

I got my aor1, sa mail, medicals cleared, schedule a being reviewed.. Am yet to receive my aor 2.... But my gc key says "we are processing your background check" ..when and where does the bgc start... In misussauga or in local vo..
