Hi everyone,
Do you guys know what the last step is for the "in process" status, throughout this forum, i understood that the process is a task by task process and not processing all docs at the same time.
I got asked FP a month ago after 9 months in process
my RCMP FP are clean and were sent right after they received them
Should I be expecting something as FP would be the last process or there could be other step/task after.

Im not asking how much longer because no one could ever know but more likely what the step is between FP and Interview , OR FP would be the last task before the test invite?

good luck everyone and congrats for the ones already canadian

There is no fixed order of the steps. FP, for example, is part of the security screening, which sometimes goes fast, sometimes slow (depening on the countries you lived in, depending on how common your name is and so on). You already observe correctly that one can't make predictions about timeline, but unfortunately the steps of processing are also depending on the individual case.

Question 5A in the minor form is asking for name of the child; while the instruction guide is telling to put UCI number. Has anybody noticed this? I am sure we should put name as asked in the form. But then there is no other place to put UCI number in minor form. Please advise.

5a is UCI
5B is name.

Hi getlucky2018
congrats for having sent your application,
however, applicants on this borad have applied on march 2018 and not march 2019.
You are a yr over, you would find applications very similar to yours on march 2019 citizenship applicant if there is one,
good day

Thank you for letting me know!

Completed the oath ceremony, and with that, my journey to Canadian Citizenship at Mississauga today.

Fyi: Per the stats provided by the presiding judge today, Mississauga IRCC has alone graduated 30000 applicants in the last six months. He also mentioned that prior to the oath, CSIS and RCMP checks are again validated to make sure the citizenship candidate is prohibition free.

Here's to hoping that the other's in line hear back soon on their applications, and for those close to the finish line, I hope it's smooth sailing from here.
