For me, it's showing 'We are processing your background check.' the same day as medical passed

I got the AOR on March 12th and medical passed 14th yesterday. At the same time, Background check was showing ''We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.'' Is this IP1 stage? Thanks

Looks like IP2.. You are a CEC applicant it seems.. All the best mate.

After MEP, if your BG Check Status is "We are processing your background check, We will send you a message if we need more information" then you are in IP2 stage..

After MEP, if your BG Check Status is "Your Application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check" then you are in IP1 stage..


The PR File Processing from AOR to COPR is the Quickest for CEC Applicants, then comes FSW applicants, and later PNP applicants.

Yes.. it is normal.. medical exam has yet to be updated. Your profile status is currently NA1. Soon your file status will be moving to IP1 after MEP.

As someone else observed, generally CEC candidates seem to get PPR faster.

In immitracker there is a CEC candidate from France who went from AOR to PPR in 13 days.

I'm beginning to wonder if the processing time is faster for candidates with higher CRS scores? the guy from france who is CEC would be having CRS close to 500 because he would have canada experience points plus points for french hence the extra quick processing for him.

Would appreciate others' thoughts on this

How long it takes to move from IP1 to NA2. I have seen no movement in my application since 1 week after IP1. Normally people move to NA2 the same day or max 3 to 4 days. I am getting worried.

One of my friend AOR 8 feb O/PNP case got PPR on 17 March 40 days and second one in 21 days FSW case
