Got through to the call center. We actually got a super helpful agent for once. My wife spoke to the agent and so did I.

She put us on hold to verify our file and then put us on hold to get a second opinion on our file.

She is going to send a letter to CPC Mississauga telling them to update our file. Hopefully this gets some movement going.

Fingers crossed! I want to join all of you getting PPR!

That is great for you! Hopefully this will help wrap up the processing on your file.

I called IRCC last week and was told that they could do nothing on their end and that I had to write a letter to the visa office, which I was going to do anyways. The thing is, why did the agent you talked to was willing to do something and the one I talked to says there is nothing they can do? The worse part is we hit 12 months today and heard nothing since November when they told us we were in the interview queue. They should technically do something since we have officially gone over their normal processing time (this was acknowledged by this agent we talked to last week), yet he still said there is nothing he could do from their end. There has got to be more consistency with this process!

It was a nice change to talk to someone who could help. This is the first helpful agent I have encountered yet. It was definitively a nice change of pace and I hope it generates some movement!
