It was such a mistake to not do my FBI fingerprints/clearance thing until now. I was doing it step by step as the CIC was giving me the instructions, so now I'm waiting on my fingerprints to get done which will be 14-16 weeks or whatever. I see people in other threads after March already getting their PPR or approval

I actually had to do my FBI Fingerprints twice! The first set, "they couldn't read". It took them 6 months to send me a letter after the fact to state they couldn't read them. I resent immediately and it took another 4.5 months to receive...and it's just some rinky dink paper stating there is no record/or if there is one it would be there, it's literally a printout. I received my second set the day after it was requested by CIC.....sent it in immediately, and since CIC gives you 90 days (if I can remember correctly), they will literally WAIT THE 90 DAYS before they even look at it. I wish you all the luck, this is such a stressful and frustrating process!!! I am also a March applicant / Mississauga Visa Office / Outbound / U.S.

As far as i have seen so far, people who get Pre-Arrival email, they get the DM & PPR very soon. meaning withing couple of weeks at the max.

I received that message two weeks before PPR

As far as i have seen so far, people who get Pre-Arrival email, they get the DM & PPR very soon. meaning withing couple of weeks at the max.

We received that pre arrival message exactly 1 week ago. Waiting on DM and PPR hopefully in the next week.

I too received the pre arrival email and decision made then a week later PPR.

Looks like it's a new thing they send out just before a positive DM
