Someone said that an agent told him/her through phone call that the application may not go to the PA's Visa office at all and it's normal and nothing to worry. So, I guess Mississauga may do some Outland apps as well.

Thanks for the reply. I know my wife's app and at least one other app have been electronically sent back to Mississauga for further processing

The Principal Applicant's Application Status changed to "In Process" on ECAS, when will we receive the e-mail that our file has been transferred to delhi?

My ecas changed to DM this Saturday.

Congratulations!! I wish the best for you.

may I ask if your sponsor was a Quebec resident, because I've heard applying for CSQ may add a little to the timeline
Also I like to know if sending Medical and PCC upfront would help in speeding up the process?

would be nice if others who have any experience in this comment here too.
Thanks to all

Is there anyone else who still hasn't started processing yet? I have verified over the phone that they have our schedule A and background checks. But ECAS still shows 1 line "application received March 31st". We had 2 emails through My CIC in early June to clarify dates on Schedule A and nothing has changed since. My CIC says they will let us know when the background check has started. No medical request yet
Since applying, we have relocated to Canada, so I have emailed and asked the local MP office to write a letter in our favour. I am starting to get super anxious seeing everyone else move forward with processing, and I have no idea what else I can do to help this move along or find out what is going on.

Could you please share your timeline?

Application Received: May 31, 2017

Acknowledgement of Receipt of Application: June 30, 2017

Application Linked Online: July 2, 2017

Medical Request: July 7, 2017

Sponsor Approval: July 7, 2017

Medical Completed: July 7, 2017

Replacement Required: July 12, 2017 (We received a request to replace Schedule A as some information was not consistent; We had sent a copy of Schedule A and PCC along with paper application)

Medical Passed: July 24, 2017 (The doctor that we went to didn’t upload the medical results for WEEKS!! It was frustrating!!)

I think the ECAS changed to “IN PROCESS” on July 24, 2017 as well; but we have not received any e-mail regarding the transfer of the file yet. Any idea when we can expect that?

thanks. i'm waiting for medicals to pass... How did you find out that doctor missed to upload medical results? but anyways my application status changed to 'in process' today.

Just a quick question. What kind of checks they do in "background checks". Any idea guys ? I mean what extent they go to

We saw that people were getting confirmation that they passed medical within a few days after getting it done. We called the doctor and he said he doesn't send them for 10-15 days!!! His excuse was that he has a lot of clients. It would've been helpful if he had told us that when we went for the medical. Nonetheless.. after repeatedly calling him, he finally sent the report! Thank God.

GAHHHH!!! So since I last wrote that post, I managed to ring through to CIC. Our second Schedule A (needed a secondary high school address added) was never attached to the file even though I uploaded it on June 14th. So it's just been sitting and not processing. I have re-submitted it through the IRCC webform but I am so annoyed. I rang 20 days ago and confirmed everything was received and appropriately attached. I also emailed and had confirmation that everything was received. The guy on the phone today was very thorough and opened our file to find out the corrected Schedule A was missing.

Someone messed up the spreadsheet

I'm in a similar boat. I haven't heard anything from them. My GCKey says that my action is required, but no messages or emails to tell me what I need to do. I've tried calling, but I always get the "volume of calls is too high" message. I have no idea what to do. I've gone ahead and had the medical check done, and have sent them my Schedule A and Police Certificates. But no progress...it's pretty frustrating.

My husband and I are relocating to Canada in a month. Did you have any trouble at immigration because you had already started the permanent residency process as an outland applicant?
