Did you upload your Police check in your language or translated? I got mine translated and scanned the 3 pages, and put everything in a pdf document since it wouldnt let me upload more than 1 document , my original is in black and white lol do you think this will be a problem? thank you

it has to be translated. you can add more than 1 document on gckey.. you just dont submit until all are uploaded

It is but its very rare. Eligibility can take quite some time. This is when they review all docs submitted and review the genuinity of the relationship. This stage can often take longer than background check. You can always order your notes which take 30 days to see where you are at

I have read that the eligibility section of American Outland apps doesn't update until the app is complete

i dont know about a difference in processing phases based on where the app is being processed... the eligibility has to be done either way.. as to when its done for american applicants, not sure. does gckey say eligibility is in process? if so, then they are checking it

It said "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"

yeah that means theyre reviewing your eligibility now - checking the genuinity of your relationship, making sure that everything lines up... once this is done, the background check starts. sometimes eligibility takes the longest. we had to provide an RCMP police check for my husband because he has been in canada from the dominican now for more than 6 months - just waiting on this and then we should be completed - expecting ppr within 3 months

Application received by mississauga office on Mar16 .. file sent to VO on may05 .. got AOR2 on may08 .. no response after that .

Oh no! I've been noticing that happen to people lately. Wishing all the best for March applicants! I plan on sending my common-law application off via FedEx on Monday. This forum has been a LIFE SAVER!!!

Also, has anyone successfully used the new text message bar code form?
Hi I have applied for my wife application in April and they received it on 19 April 2017.
But when I am checking my status online.
1) Application received 19th April 2017
2) Medical has been received.
Thats the only update I can see and its almost 3 months now.
How long does it take to update status?

Hi guys,

Applied on march23 outland sponsorship for my wife. Medical is passed, Schedula A and PCC uploaded.
CSQ still in process and now VO asking for CSQ and they gave us 60 days to send it or they will process the application without it.
Does that mean that background check is done and now waiting for CSQ to issue the PRR?

Regards,
