I know my background check is in progress because that's the status in my GCKey account, as of the last update on May 26, 2017. Also, ECAS states this: "We started processing your application on May 10, 2017."
Thank you for the reply. In my Gckey for background check, it says Not applicable.
I had uploaded additional police check on 11th June, as they requested, and nothing has changed since then.
Does that mean they hadn't received it?

Finally received AOR2 today.

wish you all the best and just update spreadsheet too

I am trying...when I click in the email you sent it just says view only..

Our ECAS finally shows "In Process" today. No changes to lines or email or MyCIC yet.

Link to update spreadsheet please.

I wish mine would change. Aor2 may 24 and meds passed June 15. Think it will soon?
I don't know. The timing for processing is anyone's guess unfortunately.

I wish I knew the answer. Perhaps give them a call next week to verify receipt.

hello guys , if we do add a representant now to the application' is it going to delay the process more or change something on timings?

Hello friends, I am sponsoring my wife who is outside of Canada. Please help me with followings:

1. Do I have to print wedding and other pictures on proper photo paper from studio or I can print (Color) them on A4 paper. I wanted to print them on A4, since it helps me to describe the picture properly on computer in stead of hand writing. Please give your feedback

2. Is there anyone who has given explanation of "Income/Source of support" when your income is low. What did you write in explanation?

3. Anyone who included a career plan in case if you are doing a survival job instead of doing your career oriented job? How did you explain your career plan in such case?

1. It is really your choice. Print them in color. I printed them in Walmart as cards and wrote explanation on the back side of each photo.

2. As long as you have a steady income ,and pay taxes regularly, you do not have to worry. No cases of refusal due to low income have been reported.

3. This should be a plan for the spouse who is coming. You really do not have to write that much details.

I have applied on 22nd March 2017, on 21st April Sponsorship approved and Schedule A requested. PCC upfront. They said after receiving Schedule A, file will be transferred to relevant visa office which is LVO for Pakistani. But its been more than 2 months but file has not been transferred to LVO yet.
What should I have to do now? How long they take to transfer the file to LVO?

I just received a request to pay my right of permanent residence fee (since I didn't pay it up front). My ECAS is in progress as is my background check. Do any of you know at what point applications are at when they ask for the RPRF? Thanks.
We received a request to pay my right of permanent residence fee in the AOR2 email but we had already paid it upfront.
what is your timeline?

I received AOR2 from NDVO on June 19th. The background check status says "Not Applicable". Is that normal ? At what point would it to change to background check in progress ?
when they begin your background check. they will also send you an email that your background check has commenced.
