My gc key showed medical requested but I can't find any correspondence about this
Please help me

I have exactly same situation. My guess we have to wait for the actual correspondence today and if it doesnt show up then call and enquire about it.

Same here...the whole page just changed since the maintenance this morning. They have added a biometric line too..

Background check went from "we are processing" to " in progress" 06/06/2017

Nothing is updated on ECAS still says application received.
I have not received AOR2, but only email that confirmed by pcc and schedule a has been received by the responsible office ( not sure where)

BC will change to 'Not Applicable' in next 2 days.. Pl. report any changes to BC.

Hi folks,
I received a message on GCKey today, asking to submit two additional documents
1) A police certificate from Italy (I lived there for a year),
Do I need to send the original? (it doesn't say that it has to be original.)
2) Explanation and proof of intent to reside in Canada (I am the principal applicant)
I am thinking to write a letter saying that I have been applying some jobs, and attach the job applications, that I have my university diploma assessed by university of Toronto to be able to teach in Canada, plus my emails and correspondence from Ontario College of Teachers to work in public schools.
But these are all job related stuff. What else do you think I should add? How much I love my husband and so on?

Review of additional documents changed from "Not applicable" to "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded"and background check changed from "The next step is to conduct a background check" to "We will send you a message when we start your background check"

Not sure what any of this means and ECAS has not changed. Anyone else has this status this morning?

they did something to updated mycic alot of people are getting changes. ecas is not as up to date as mycic.

May I ask how long it took them to attach your Schedule A? And how did you send it?

Hi , did you received any message or instructions for your medical request? We received medical request today but there is no message or instructions.

Hello friends! I just got off of the phone with the call center and the agent pulled up my file and confirmed that there is in fact no request for medical, and that it is most likely a glitch on MyCIC after the maintenance that happened. Very disheartening news for some.
