Hey guys i have a question.! Do we get email about file transfer to visa office. Like NDVO New Delhi. How can I know where my file is in Missisauga or in New Delhi? Do we get any acknowledgement mail about schedule A received. I sent mine like 20 days ago. No email from them since that.

yes you will get two emails about ndvo file transfer one in sponsor email address other on PA email address.

my husband is sponsoring me.so he got the file transfer email in Canadian day time and I got the email very next day in my day tym.

Can anyone provide CIC number when calling from India?
Tried to call 18882422100 but says check the number :-\

The local number is 1-613-944-4000 (It is Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada so you need to select the proper options to connect to CIC). If you have GMAIL (no matter where you are) you can make free phone calls from google voice to the US and Canada.

Hi Everyone, I just registered myself for canadavisa forum but I have been using this for some time as it really helped me understanding the application process. I am going to give you a snap shot of my application so far 8)

- I applied on March 28th, 2017
- Cic received my application on March 30th, 2017
- Received an email with Acknowledgement letter on April 18th, 2017
- Received an email regarding Sponsorship Approval on April 19th, 2017
- Received an email regarding Medical Examination request on April 19th, 2017
- My wife did medical on 25th of April, 2017
- Received an email from Cic on 2nd of May, 2017 mentioning that they have forwarded my case to London for further processing.


Knock on wood, everything is going very fast for me. ;D

Only one question I have, do you guys have any idea about the time frame after medical examination and requesting passport in my case?

I am also available to answer any question regarding the process I already gone through!!

I too just submitted sched a form through ircc webform. Can you pleAse confirm if you had also sent the form via mail (courier service). Is it mandate to do so ?
If not, have you received any confirmation that your form has been accepted ?

Hello. I submitted both PCC and Scheduel A using IRCC just 5 days ago. So far I did not receive any email confirming that these docs were attached to the application yet. I was told that it will take its time (at least 2-3 weeks). And I did not send anything via mail (I dont want to confuse them with all the additional forms...yet).
