Hey guys i got a request to provide IMM5562 - supplementary info - your travels a couple of days ago. Uploaded it to cic today. Has anyone else been asked for it? Also why woukd they ask for that when i already sent it with my application?

Could be that a new version was released. Look at the bottom left hand corner of both forms. For me imm 5669 was filled out in dec 2016 and a new version was released in jan 2017

How is the PA able to see this in mycic without me (sponsor) having SA? Does this mean the file was transferred to a VO?

Mine says almost the same but background and eligibilitu say they are reviewing to see if we meet the requirements. The information in the table from gckey is about the pa not the sponsor. It changed for me once i got the sa

Hey guys..I need a some help! My package was returned and I am quite frustrated for obvious reasons. It was returned because I didn't send my wife's marriage certificate because it was all in hindi and doesn't have her name on it so I decided to send her 10th standard mark sheet which had her name and date of birth (and on their website, it was mentioned that mark sheets are available) and plus I had sent her election voting card, which had some hindi on it so they requested for certified translations for documents which weren't in english. Now my question is, is it necessary to send the voting card as one of the documents because I had already included a copy of her drivers license which comes under "copy of national identity card." And obviously now I have to get her marriage certificate translated and resend it. But since it doesn't have her name on it should I also send the mark sheet along with it?

it depends what country you are from because it was required for my country and I sent it upfront.

If you want to send extra documents that may be Useful that's fine but I would just send all the documents they asked for Eg marriage certificate, whether you think it makes sense or not. Just make sure whatever documents you provide have been translated.

If you are from India, cic accepts 10th certificate if you dont have birth certificate (or if the name is missing on birth certificate), I do not know how is it for other countries.

And marksheet is not accepted I guess, send them 10th class certificate

There is no need to send the voter's card, as you said you already sent driver's license (I sent aadhaar card)

I am from Canada. And that's what I meant by Mark sheet, I sent the 10th class certificate but I guess that is not acceptable as they have highlighted the "marriage certificate section" on my checklist.

When I resend it, I guess I won't send the voter's card then but hopefully this doesn't raise another red flag.

Also, did you only send the aadhaar card or did you send it along with another national identity document?

Thanks for the info wintermao. My wife has a birth certificate, by it is entirely in hindi and it also doesn't have her name on it. So we are looking into either getting that certified translated or getting it remade in english with her name on it. What do you recommend? Any thoughts or suggestions by anyone else?

get a certified translation and have it notarized for the birth certificate.

Yes, that's what I'm getting her to do. She went and got it remade in english and added her name. Hopefully this works now fingers crossed
