I asked if you have seen each other, not just talk over the phone. they prefer that you have met in person and all.
did you two wanted to get married in Thailand? or it was purely arranged from the beginning? or was it arranged because she couldn't get visa to Thailand?
however, you should not worry too much. as long as you have proof that you booked all the tickets to Thailand before your wedding but unfortunately refused.
they may just ask for more proof that the relationship is indeed genuine and may possibly schedule an interview.
its hard to predict CIC, but just wait until you get AOR and SA from them first.
good luck

by bad,
yes we have seen each other, I went to Bangladesh for wedding and reception, stayed together for 2 weeks. then I came back to Canada.

sorry for any confusion

Hello,
when counting days to my first AOR, IRCC doesn't work on the weekend right?
So i shouldn't be counting weekends.

correct me if i'm wrong.
It is government after all.

Pretty sure they don't. We could use the NETWORKDAYS formula in the sheet to exclude weekends.

If i move and change my address, how do i go about letting CIC know? I'm the sponsor, had just submitted the application this month.

Just let the address on the file the same. Use CanadaPost's Mail redirect to redirect your mails to the other address.

We have the same situation, they said that they sent correspondence to the PA but I didn't get any,
Same here they sent PA correspondence but there is nothing in CIC but they changed ECAS to IN PROCESS and Decision made. I have no idea what's happening/

If the "In process" changed to "Decision Made" under Sponsorship Application Status, it means that the Sponsor has already been approved. Congratulations then :-)

The Sponsorship Application Status Part says : DECISION MADE and PERMANENT RESIDENCE STATUS SAYS : IN PROCESS if that means approval its great then and Thank you so much

We just saw that they sent us an email approving sponsorship eligibility on my sponsoring email and they sent the application to CPC- Ottawa. Things are going fast since all this happened in 9 days from the time they received the application. Thanks God

I applied for my husband this month, I am in Brampton, he is in Africa. Received march 7th, he was the first to get email to link the application on the 17th march which we did same day. I got AOR march 18th (Saturday).

I checked under the 'application status' and saw "2.We sent you correspondence on March 18, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."
what could that possibly be and does that mean they sent something to me in the mail because there is nothing in both our emails/junk/etc.

we had done police report before we realized that they should request for it separately but we included it in the application anyway.

I am also yet to receive SA or request to upload schedule A . I actually thought that I had been approved as a sponsor when we both received initial emails until I started to read this forum.

what should we expect now?
thank you all

We are in the same boat. Received AOR1 on March 22nd (PA email), and just got access in ECAS with the same note that they sent correspondence on Mar 23rd. I checked myCIC but there is no message nor email about the correspondence. What to do now?

Same here.. got AOR yesterday. No message for Schedule A or PCC yet. I think its normal, they take 3-4 days in some cases to send a doc request via MyCIC

That's the case, there's no message in myCIC account, but in ECAS it says that they sent a correspondence on Mar.23. Hopefully the email is just delayed and will receive it later today. Do you have your ECAS access?

Yes I do, nothing there as yet in terms of doc request correspondence.
