Is it possible to try linking without a UCI or Application #?

Waiting on AOR1 as well, not too worried right now because plenty of people are in the situation and I doubt we all made mistakes.

I submitted the old application package in January and it was sent back to me because I made a mistake. Finally finished the new application package and mailed it in today! Hoping and praying to receive that AOR in a couple of weeks. I will be so upset if it gets mailed back again. Reading this forum is not helping to calm my anxiety - I'm seeing all sorts of things about including Option C vs. Notice of Assessment causing problems (we only included the latter), as well as the new IM0008 form which I had no idea about... plus, we listed his address as my mailing address, which I'm seeing has caused other people problems - hopefully everything will turn out okay and they will accept it. :-[ Right now, after reading this thread, I just want to cry, and I was so excited this morning.

Sorry to hear that, just be hopeful. Although files get returned if you use an address that is not yours without submitting the use of representative. It has happened to quite a few people here. But you might be lucky that they may overlook it. Worse case scenario, you will submit again. If that's the case then I'm hoping they return it early so that you can correct whatever errors and resubmit early

I was able to link my application with MyCIC using the tips in this forum. Thank you. Now I am waiting for Schedule A and PCC and SA. Goodluck to all!

Try to ask your sponsor what his/her UCI is (this is the number given to him/ her when he or she applied for PR back then). Go to the ecas log-in h t t p s://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do (i am not allowed to post links so just connect the http)
and input UCI, surname, bday and place of birth of SPONSOR. This should show if the PA's application is received and if it is in-process already. Hope this helps. Goodluck.

well there is an option to use your family name and DOB. I am trying this combination as I dont have an application number yet. But no luck...I guess you have to have an application number in order to link.

I really hope that many ppl will hear this week from CIC....Trying to be positive.

Have you tried calling cic? Only when I called them up was I able to confirm that my application was being sent back; although you may have to try different agents and hope you find one that is knowledgeable on how to use the system properly.

Mine was returned less than a month after they had received it. By the time I got the application back in my mail it was exactly a month from when I had initially sent it to cic.

QUERIES
1. Are any of the documents from SPONSOR need to be attested like copy of PR card etc...
2. Do we need to send ORIGINAL marriage certificate or COPY or NOTORY ATTESTED COPY or SELF ATTESTED COPY?
3. Please confirm the address to send OUTLAND application by courier.

March 7 victim here too, however, we just received our AOR. I guess the third time was a charm. Stay hopeful!
