Hi guys,

My application was returned because I put my mailing address (sponsor) as my husband's mailing address (applicant) without adding the form use of a representative. I have resent the application yesterday with the form. the application was received January 19th and it was only returned to me February 22nd. Hoping for a fast process.

Im having trouble understanding this. I we dont have a representative do we still need to put the form? We are applying for outland. Thanks.

Basically, if you are living separately and you are planning on using the sponsor's mailling address as the applicant's mailing address as well. You will need to submit the form use of a representative and put the sponsor's information as the representative. But if you are planning on using applicant's overseas address as mailing address than the form is not required.

about to file my application...but before that

QUERIES
1. Are any of the documents from SPONSOR need to be attested like copy of PR card etc...
2. Do we need to send ORIGINAL marriage certificate or COPY or NOTORY ATTESTED COPY or SELF ATTESTED COPY?
3. Please confirm the address to send OUTLAND application by courier.

1- all the identification from sponsor (birth certificate, PR card, citizenship card, Passport) are copies.
2- you only need a regular copy of marriage certificate.
3- Application for spouses, common-law partners or conjugal partners and dependent children (currently living outside Canada):

Unfortunately, they will return the whole application

I hope you get a nice agent that may decide to do otherwise.

Re #3, i thought courier is not good to be delievered to PO address... How would courier get delivery receipt from PO adderss

That's where I sent mine and it was signed by a David ... I'm sure they have a system in place for that. On the CIC page, there is a note saying: "We accept deliveries from couriers between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, except for statutory holidays.
No deliveries are accepted before or after these hours."

I wish I could tell you more.

You should call the courier and ask about status of your package.
