Background is probably a scan done on your name and passport number through Canadian intellegence and security agencies and all cooperative agencies of Canada allies.

If your VO is New Delhi CPC Mississauga sends them in batches so your application should be transferred soon. Don't worry.Have someone got any update from cic after submitting Background form (schedule A) for second time due to failure of submission of background form first time?
If yes, then after how many days? How did you send schedule A?
I submitted it through web portal on July 10th and also mailed it to them. CIC just received it on July 19th. I called CIC on 24th July and agent confirmed that they just received it. But there is no update yet. Our timeline shows: 1. application received on March 3rd. 2. We sent you correspondence on March 24, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do it asap. 3. Medical results have been received.
If someone had same issue, please give some idea when can i expect any update from CIC

It means they receive medical online or on the basis of courier receipt that they received.
Confusion arise because we send our documents ( background declaration, photo, PCC, medical receipt) in June.
More than 1 month passed then we request to MP and MP confirm that Delhi office did not received courier yet.
But courier tracking status shown delivered in next day.
Please help or suggest....

The clinic/ hospital you did your medicals usually from sends the medicals to CIC directly and ECAS updates within 10 days for most cases within a week. Was that not done by the place you did your medicals from?
You will, whenever the next batch is being sent to Delhi!
Have you checked the spreadsheets? Have applications with similar timelines as you moved?
What I meant was check the applicants who received AOR2 on the same date as you and whose VO is Ottawa. That's the closest comparison, no two applications are the same so comparing your application with someone with a different timeline is of no use.
No other Ottawa applicants on the spreadsheet have the same aor2 date as me. Ottawa sent an electronic version of my app back to Mississauga. I think this maybe to approve my eligibility. After reading the gcms notes thread I realized they do infact send apps back to Mississauga to have eligibility approved.
Congratulations! are your dependents accompanying or non-accompanying? not sure if I should secure my daughter's passport yet, because she's not coming with me yet.
