Here is my time line
Visa office - Nairobi Keneya.
under eCas
1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 29, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on May 12, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.

Then on June 10 we received email it says:- In order to continue processing the application, we require the following:
Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document
Prepaid courier coupon: Please provide a prepaid courier coupon so that your documents can be returned to you. You may contact your preferred registered courier provider (i.e. DHL, UPS, TNT, FedEx) to make the necessary payments.

We sent passport and coupon by DHL and they sign and received on June 13.

Then June 23 when we check eCas 4th line added and it says

4. We sent you correspondence on June 15, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Dose it give you any sense? please tell me something, am still confused.

I think you deserve congratulations, it's so fast not even 1 month since they started processing your application, it's the fastest not processed in Ottawa. What's your class? Spousal sponsorship application?

I'm wondering if the main applicant gets his own UCI and when. My sponsor has been approved already and ECAS says in process on applicant's side but no AOR 2. I was thinking if I wanted to contact my VO at any point but have no UCI I might not get any information.

Hi Kathi,

Mine was simple because i had applied for a TRV earlier. I didn't know if i was to use the same but when i tried logging into ECAS i found out it was the same one. Please check if you have ever had correspondence from CIC previously or visa application.

a total of 2 month and 26 days.

Hello Kathi2,

Yes, you visa office should email you that they have received your application with your UCI number. My wife (main applicant) received AOR2 which stated her UCI.

Hi there,

Any Aussies in the March forum here?

Got the 'final request' email today and I'm 99% sure Aussies are visa exempt and hence, I have to send a photocopy of my passport and two photos to complete the process but with the recent introduction of the ETA I am unsure if this changes things?

Also, in two days time it will be 12 months since I did my medical exam. Has anyone heard of the PR docs expiry date being extended to allow for entry?

Absolutely, they do extend medical exams, hopefully they will do the same for you or it has already been done.

Hello All,

When CIC does "Decision Made" , does it always appear at the CIC status Check?

Or can it be that they have done that DM and they send it to you the COPR without appearing on the COmputer screen

(my VO is Paris, and being spanish they won´t ask me for the Passport to stamp a Visa)

Hi there,

I'm Australian so visa exempt too, and no stamp needed. It took 4 business days from when I saw DM on the website, until I received an email with next steps. From what I understand, they have asked me to send them a photocopy of my passport and a couple photos and then I get the COPR after that. I think! I hope!
