yeah this eTA... it seems to me it is just another form of tax :/

Hi - she will need a return ticket as proof of a future return date. Also, usually immigration will include a certain number of days/months a person is allowed to stay in Canada (most of the time - 6 months). In arrival, they typically ask "who you're visiting" to establish relationship and "when will you be returning". Of course, from person to person and officer to officer it probably differs. This is all personal experience. My husband travels back and forth from Jamaica to Toronto. Since he travels frequently he has established a "history" however at the beginning he was asked questions to establish relationship and reason for visiting.

I saw on the spreadsheet outland 2016 there's a DM for March applicant. That’s awesome.

Ottawa. Me sponsoring my American spouse. But I'm fairly convinced the DM is an error. Still, I wanted to record it on the spreadsheet since I brought it up in one thread and it's been brought up in others. eCas started showing "Decision Made" as the status of the PA's application, but the actual detailed summary does not state that a decision was made. It seems very unlikely to me, but that's still the situation after a few days. Someone suggested that as part of training the new hires they might be working through easy applications one by one, which if you look at the DM dates, seems plausible enough. It looks like there's been an Ottawa DM every day or two. But still, I'm skeptical and encourage everyone else to be, too. That's why I noted it was likely an error in the notes column.

It may be legitimate. There was an Ottawa app in December who received their decision 6 days after their AOR2. They received their COPR 2 weeks later. Maybe you are one of the very rare lucky ones. :)

Congratulations! Have you tried calling CIC to confirm if it's genuine? I hope for your sake that it is! Good luck.

Hi guys,

Please do i need to write on the envelope that the application is for "Outland Spousal sponsorship" or not? cuz it doesn't have an option for that, am inside canada applying for Outland... thank you

Hello everyone. I just got AOR2 email. 11 days after SA. So, the wait begins. Anyone looking to apply TRV?

For some reason, i received the SA letter through snail mail on last Friday. The letter was dated April 25th.

Yes Nehemiah26, The application guide says that you do need to write application category on the envelope.
