Yes, I think you should call them!buonqua said:I sent my application on March 16. No e-mail from CIC so I don't think I have AOR1. I can't login either with the UCI# they gave me.
Thinking I should call them on Monday if nothing new happens.

You are way past 39 days processing time. I would definitely give them a call.buonqua said:I sent my application on March 16. No e-mail from CIC so I don't think I have AOR1. I can't login either with the UCI# they gave me.

Did you get the UCI over phone? My husband filed the application on 17th March, around same time as yours but he was not able to access it from his UCI until 3-4 days ago. While i was able to access it from my previous UCI few days after AOR1(12th April). If your spouse/partner has a diff UCI?buonqua said:I sent my application on March 16. Since it's Ottawa VO he won't receive an e-mail as many others do. Rather, a third line will be added to his side saying when they started processing the application, and this counts as your AOR2. Your side (sponsor) will stay as "in process" throughout, even when his (applicant) is changed to "Decision Made" at the end.CehNehDeh said:How do I know if I have AOR2. My husband is American going through Ottawa VO. I was able to see status online and his side has two lines...1. Application received 2. Medical received. My side (sponsor) says "in process". What does all this mean? Where am I in the process?
Thanks everyone!

i think Japanese citizen does not need a visitor visa to visit Canada. so you should be fine.phil832 said:Hi Everyone !
I am a Canadian citizen living in Calgary married to a Japanese women.
She is currently living in Japan and me in Canada.
We are about to send all the documents for the CIC. We apply outland.
I have a question for you.
While we are waiting, is it ok for her to visit me in Canada ?
In 4 months, Her job will end and would like to come visit here and stay with me for a while ( as long as possible haha).
Will she be allowed to come here on a visitor visa ? Or she cannot come to Canada until she gets the PR card ... which is in more than a year !
I am sorry if my question is stupid. I just started to read about all that, and I am confused.
I just hope I can be with her while waiting for the PR to come.
That wouldn't be a problem. Just bring the marriage certificate with herphil832 said:Hi Everyone !
