I sent my application on March 16. No e-mail from CIC so I don't think I have AOR1. I can't login either with the UCI# they gave me.
Thinking I should call them on Monday if nothing new happens.

Yes, I think you should call them!

You are way past 39 days processing time. I would definitely give them a call.

Did you get the UCI over phone? My husband filed the application on 17th March, around same time as yours but he was not able to access it from his UCI until 3-4 days ago. While i was able to access it from my previous UCI few days after AOR1(12th April). If your spouse/partner has a diff UCI?
Regardless you should make a call...

Yes I got the UCI over the phone. I also made sure the numbers were correct.

I'll give them a call again.

How do I know if I have AOR2. My husband is American going through Ottawa VO. I was able to see status online and his side has two lines...1. Application received 2. Medical received. My side (sponsor) says "in process". What does all this mean? Where am I in the process?

Thanks everyone!

Hello. We tried to call cic today and we heard a good news. We didnt receive SA yet and we are past 37 days already so that gave us the reason to call. So the call center said that the sponsor is approved already and our file is on transit to Manila.

File received: Mar 21
AOR1: Apr 15
SA: Apr 22

*We never received aor and sa neither email nor snailmail. Confirmation were all made through calls to cic.

We hope that all of us will hear good news. Thank you.

Since it's Ottawa VO he won't receive an e-mail as many others do. Rather, a third line will be added to his side saying when they started processing the application, and this counts as your AOR2. Your side (sponsor) will stay as "in process" throughout, even when his (applicant) is changed to "Decision Made" at the end.

Hope that helps.

Thank you! That was tremendously helpful :). Congrats on DM...looks like that went through super fast for you!!

Hi Everyone !

I am a Canadian citizen living in Calgary married to a Japanese women.
She is currently living in Japan and me in Canada.
We are about to send all the documents for the CIC. We apply outland.

I have a question for you.
While we are waiting, is it ok for her to visit me in Canada ?
In 4 months, Her job will end and would like to come visit here and stay with me for a while ( as long as possible haha).
Will she be allowed to come here on a visitor visa ? Or she cannot come to Canada until she gets the PR card ... which is in more than a year !

I am sorry if my question is stupid. I just started to read about all that, and I am confused.
I just hope I can be with her while waiting for the PR to come.

Just a question, after SA we will be expecting AOR2 right? Are we expecting that to be sent to Sponsor or Principal Applicant's email?

That wouldn't be a problem. Just bring the marriage certificate with her
