lol... where are you?? Pacific? yes. i am in B.C call in the middle of the day... not only the system automatically drops me "due to a large call volume".. i had to redial twice.. even i was able to be transfered.. another 15 mins.. i guess wasn't too bad.

Yes, I am from BC too... I called them before going to work. Oh well that's not so bad for 15 mins.

i dont even know if mine was an AOR? since i was told by a CIC call centre agent that they received mine on March 29th.. no email or a letter..

Hi guys,

I got my SA thru mail today. I didn't received AOR coz accdg to the CIC agent I don't have email add on my file. I checked ecas App received- Mar. 4, AOR- Mar. 30, SA - Apr. 8 and hubby's file has been forwarded to Manila VO. So to those who haven't received AOR or SA try calling CIC.

Yes, I think you should wait until 39 days pass. The AOR should come via email or letter to inform you officially and to give the UIC and application number too.

Keep calm because at least you know your application package has arrived safely (I used to have same feeling lol)

trust me.... i get panic attack; cuz i had nightmares about my package get returned. I guess if the application is returned; guess no way CIC has all my info like my work phone number and such.... thanks... this forum is great. we can encourage each others eh?

Just relax! You'll hear good news from CIC soon, your package is already in good hands. I have all kinds of feelings as well coz I did'nt hear any news from them until I phoned. No AOR but SA on the mail today . And I notice same UCI that I used when I entered Canada more than decade ago.

I am trying to learn the codes here... so i can follow the conversations.

My application was sent March 20th, and then they asked for an additional document on 8th April, which I sent them the next day.. I don't know what I am waiting for next? Another email with details so I can access my account with them? I am sponsoring my husband and we want to move to Nova Scotia!

what kinda additional documents did they ask? in the 1st stage before AOR? wow.. you are lucky that they didnt send the whole application back. you should receive an AOR letter...

thank you very much..in fact thank you everyone.. so we can compare our timeline and take a proactive action accordingly. here are some details.

pretty coincident.. lol.. yesterday I was wondering why a lot of people received AOR and I didn't. so i decided to call CIC and they said they received it on March 29 yesterday. then I received an AOR email this morning at 7am pacific time.
great Friday gift eh?

here is some of details.. I am a Chinese Canadian naturalized citizen sponsoring my wife from Tunisia.
sent March 22nd by an xporess.. didnt arrive till March 29, as it was an Easter holiday.. lol. Canada Post is slow.

AOR April 22

so a little bid less than 1 month. moving fast eh?
hopefully i get approved very soon.

you have to keep redialing and go thru press 1 and those.

PR side changed from 'application received' to 'in process' this morning. However, still no third line added on the pr side- only application received on xxx and medical results received.
