As per your timeline in signature, it seems cic asked additional documents for your SA on 21st April. Did you submit? If yes, when? I guess this is readon for delay in your case

My husband has been so busy but he will make sometime next week to visit the MP in case we will not have heard of anything from CIC.

Yes Rashu. We send the documents within two hours after we received the request. They mailed us on 5th confirming the receipt of the documents. Could this be the cause of the delay? we are at 68 days today.

Is there anyone who has received SA already and on the applicant's side is still no "medical received" although done upfront? I'm wondering if that's normal...

My friend had this happen but that was because the print he gave wasnt too clear (CIC wasnt able to read the barcode on medical records) and he received a letter to re-submit once the file was transferred to his country processing center.

Yes Rashu. We send the documents within two hours after we received the request. They mailed us on 5th confirming the receipt of the documents. Could this be the cause of the delay? we are at 68 days today.

That's look like a reason for delay. Anyway, what additional documents were asked?

Yes Im Australian.

Sent Application to Ontario
It got Transferred to Nova Scotia
Then received email saying COPR has been issued. This email came from Canadian Consulate in Sydney Australia

Still haven't received actual COPR, just an email saying its been issued...

That means my hypothesis is correct. Your application was sent to Sydney Australia, but the agent you talked to mistakenly said Sydney, NS.

I don't think NS even processes spousal applications.

They had asked for his divorce certificate.

yeah, that sounds about right.

Syndey NS processes PR Cards, so nothing is sent there for spousal sponsorship until AFTER landing.

Sponsor was approved on April 21st according to the Call Centre, my app was forwarded to Ottawa and is In Process but the sponsor side still shows in process, we never received an email or letter in the mail.

Its just weird. Wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.

yes many people. this is quite common. the email would have gone to the sponsor. check spam folders. if the call center confirmed it, then the file has been transferred. you can always order your notes to make sure.
