At least in my experience that is the case. I check ECAS daily and my status has changed to Decision Made but I still have not received an email or had any of the lines on the 2nd page change from how they were prior.

I think visa offices are different from one to one

Would like to add that the expiry date of the visa is Jun 18th, 2016 despite that the medical test was done in Jan 8th, 2014

She received the visa yesterday and COPR document.
The expiry date is back to normal I mean it is now matching the expiry date of the medical test. Jan 2016 not Jun 2016 as they mentioned in thier PPR email.

COPR document is issued with condition 51.

Everything is ready now. The plan is to fly to her in Dec 4th. Spend sometime in Egypt and then come back togather to Canada in Dec 26th.
