Has anyone had the issue of receiving multiple requests of proof of residency for their sponsor? We received a request on October 2nd and two more this past week. My wife has responded within one hour of these emails and given them exactly what they asked for (pay stubs with addresses on them along with a letter from her boss). I also responded with to an email in September but still haven't received a response. Is our caseworker just screwing with us at this point? We've done everything by the book so far and this is obviously causing us some stress.

I haven't, but there are others that have gotten additional requests beyond the first generic one, although I don't think I've heard of anyone who has gotten more than one additional. I doubt it's anything to worry about though - they seem to be somewhat email happy at this point. Have all the requests been worded exactly the same way?

One additional thing - one person specifically got a request for a T4. If you haven't included one, maybe send them a scan of that. We did it with the original request, and the person who got the more specific request got DM within a week of the reqiuest.

It has been almost identical in the wording. The first two seemed like form letters. The most recent one seemed like it was written personally as there was a spelling mistake or two in it. I'm not familiar with a T4. Could you explain that for me please?

Thanks a ton for your help!

It's a tax document that gives the income from the previous year, similar to a W-4 in the U.S. I believe. I'm also from the U.S. so I think that's what it is...seemed like it based on what my wife scanned and I sent

Gotcha. We lived outside the country last year so that wouldn't help. It's good to know though.
