Visitor visa extension from within Canada

Dear friends,
My wife is March 2015 applicant (NDVO) and is currently with me here in Canada on TRV (multiple entry). She entered Canada on 01 March 2015 so 6 months will expire on 31 August 2015. I will appreciate if some one can share his/her experience on how to extend Visitor Visa from within Canada, Online or hard copies?

I haven't been following this thread for two weeks. I glanced through few pages and I saw that few of the VOs don't send an AOR2.

My VO is New Delhi and my sponsorship application was approved on 8th May and there is still no update on AOR2. on ECAS there is this message

"We received MANALI AVINASH MALWADE's application for permanent residence on March 13, 2015."

and the status is APPLICATION RECEIVED.

I have been seeing this message since I first applied. I am not sure how AOR2 is communicated. Any NDVO applicants please comment

When the VO send AoR2, is via e-mail.

On my ECAS for SA it says "Correspondence sent to you on June 23, 2015 about the Decision on your application".

I haven't received anything in mail or email. Should I call them up and ask? or they just like to take sweet time in emailing.

You can call them, for sure.
Also consider a delay from 7 to 20 days after they "send you something".
