I'm a March applicant and we hadn't received SA yet so my wife (she's the sponsor) called today. Sounds like all is good; she said the application was in Ottawa, so I'm assuming we got SA and someone just messed up and forgot to note it in the system...she said it was odd there wasn't more in the system for SA and she didn't outright say we had SA, but I'm assuming it wouldn't be in Ottawa if all wasn't OK and the person was pretty positive sounding on the phone. She said we'd get an email from her within three days. I will update the spreadsheet once we get official word.

And still nothing. No email, no change in ECAS.

My wife called them again and they told that the guide is wrong. And from today it'll take more 7 weeks.

hello there, newbie here. i am sponsoring my husband from the philippines and i just checked my ecas, which is now on decision made for sponsorship status. it says there that they sent me a correspondence on june 1 about the decision of my application. does anyone here knows what they mean? and how do they usually send the correspondence, via email or mail? dont know whats gonna happen next. but still hoping for a better one.

The SA is usually by email nowadays.. If you don't get it by the end of the week, give them a call.
