If she sets up a change of address with Canada Post, they will forward it. Also, CIC will receive a copy of it directly from the MIDI so you don't need to send it to them yourself.
But they send it via CanadaPost?

4 weeks is common, it can go up to 12 weeks.

Be patient.

For real?? Wow! Already had a visa? Thats very quick.. Very very quick..

Yes some people are very very lucky.

That is why it is useless to be comparing against each other. Each case is different and set in a very different context.

Guys, I need your help. How will I know if I got AOR2? Do we get an email? or the message on ECAS gets updated?

I know this seems silly, but how long after you get AOR can you check/login to ECAS? (And is it with the sponsor's info you check it?)

Thanks, guys!

There's no exact science for this.
For me, took about 4 days after AoR.
They USUALLY updates the system at tuesdays.

I found out that you can check sponsor page (this will show the first stage status too I.E. SA status) by using the info as per below:
UCI number
Sponsor's Last Name (if you are the wife...make sure to put the last name on your passport...even if after marriage it changed...they use the one on passport)
Sponsor's Date of Birth (follow the format YYYY-MM-DD
Sponsor's place of birth.

And if you want to see the Person to be Sponsored (Principal Applicant) page, which shows just the PR application status, use this format:
Application/Immigration file number
Principal Applicant's Last Name, date of birth, and place of birth.

I had access to it within 2 days. Make sure you use proper browser and no firewall....when I logged in from work..was weird didnt see everything but from home using firefox it looks great!

Hope this helps! Cheers!

Thanks, DanSlh and LLAngel!

If you can access the sponsor, no need to access the sponsored person separately. Its already on the same page.

Except on stage 2. When it enters in process you're no longer able to access with sponsor's informations.

Yes, they remove the applicant's portion from their system.
