Hey guuuuuuys just sharing some happiness with you!
Just received aor 2 and the officer told me they will start processing my application in around 15 days and will wait only for csq without causing any delays ::D
I'm seeing the light now :D
I can't believe that in 2 or 3 months I'll be with her... it's so unreal!

OMG! Congrats, brasil rocks! Hahaha...venezuelan apps should be sent to Brasil, at least mine 8).
BTW, decision made on ecas! I cant wait to know the decision now.

They were working very hard last week.

The waiting time has been reduced to 56 days Vs. 63

That explains the amount of emails that were sent to us last week.

Still waiting for the first one in this group to receive the second AOR :)

There's one March applicant already had passport request, and congrats DanSlh is the second one gets 2nd AOR of all!!! Hong Kong VO has slowed down of the processing time so much that I don't know if I will get the PR within an year or no.........sigh

Wooooooow. What a positive news.
Congrats. Hope tings will continue move with the same speed or even faster.

Same thing to all of us.

Hi jus wanted to ask pls how long is the waiting time for the application to be processed in Manila.
Sponsorship application decision made was approved on may 13th and said our application was mailed already to manila. whats the next step pls. tanx

Did you check eCAS? Mine updated to Decision Made today :)

Yeah I checked... Nothing. I got AOR on April 23rd. Technically Monday is my 62 days... So I will freak out more next week.

I got AOR on the 23rd as well. I think next week is our week ;D

Couple of questions for the group...

#1 - If my sponsoree/medicals were recieved when I got AOR, does that mean my stuff won't be transfered to Ottawa and will stay in Mississauga? (I'm American)

#2 - I am going to Canada for 5.5 months. I leave next week, and I have a return ticket as well as a letter from my employer stating they are expecting me back in November. I am planning on having bank statements, proof of my outbound application (i.e. AOR and hopefully SA), marriage certificate, proof of insurance... What else should I do to ensure I get in without issue. How much luggage do you all think is "too much"? I'm flying, so I am trying to keep it to 1 checked bag and 1 carry-on, but I really wish I could bring two checked bags without flagging the border officers suspicion. Thoughts?

Thank you very much guys!
I appreciate the good vibes and all the support <3

17months as per cic. But i have seen people from other threads getting VOH in about 7months time From AOR, but then again, it depends on the completeness of your application and if there are no possible reasons for delay. (Missing documents, re-submitting forms, etc.)

Have a good day!:)

It's a form message. If you stated an email address you'll receive by email.
The average time is 8 days. So if they sent you a letter on may 12 wait on may 20~

Wait until may 20 or so and try to relax.
A decision made means an approval for 98%of cases and most likely your application was already transferred at this time.
If you want some peace of mind, pay a call to cic call Centre on Tuesday regarding the decision made :D
