I asked the same question in another post (in Kingston Jamaica forum) and they told me not to worry, that sometimes its not updated even tho they have it. They told me if i dont see it by the one year mark, then worry, but for now it should be ok. I did email my VO anyway to make sure they got it, so just waiting on a response from them

Ah! thanks! please let us when you get a response.

Hey Guys, I have a question. So I sent my package on March 12th 2015. Option C printout I have sent was from 2013 since I had not filed my taxes for 2014 at the time but I did send my T4's from 2014 so that i can show my income for 2014.
What do you guys think about it? Now that I have filed my taxes for 2014. Should I sent my option C printout(2014) to CIC?
Also, how about you guys? Did you send the option C printout from 2014?
Thanks in advance!

I sent my application on 2nd March with option c for 2013. I filed my return on 10 March and soon after receiving NOA, ordered Option c for 2014. I recd my AOR on 15 Apr and on 16 Apr sent my 2014 option c giving reference to new file number and my client ID.
I am awaiting SA now.

We sent 2013 since that was the latest tax year that had been filed, even though CRA sent us a blank 2014 at first...I doubt CIC asks for an updated one, but now I'm actually curious to dig through the March/April threads from last year to see. Isn't today the filing deadline in Canada? If so, I could see where they would want a 2014 Option C for people with applications filed in May and beyond, but probably not before.

We got SA on the 28th using my option C printout from 2013

Congrats!

I'm also wondering if applicants from Quebec dont't have to wait more for SA, because CIC does communicate with MICC. Any opinion on this?

Hi! Quebec applicant here!
I'm not really sure but I would say it shoud take less, since the financial section is done by the MIDI. Or at least the undertaking. But maybe they'll verify if you are OK anyway with the federal goverment... :/

I am so sad these days... This is taking forever and I miss my husband :(

Why some people are sent to Ottawa/Mississauga?

Am waiting as well. I think some factors would help determining why some are getting the SA before others, like, The sponsor:
- Nationality; Canadian or on PR.
- Lives in Canada or abroad.
- Was married before.
- Filed a Sponsorship application before.
- Has a stable job and income.

I know all these factors are private, so many ppl wouldnt like to share them.

I don't know if it's deterining who gets SA first.
Look, my wife is PR, never married, no kids, never made a sponsorship before.
Altought she doesn't have a job, she's a studant BUT we've sent cover letter from her parents and she'll start working on june (she's a nurse).
All SA given on march applicants are from people whose office is Ottawa or Mississauga.
Maybe a coincidence, we'll never know for sure.

Ah, Ok! so Who get Ottawa or Mississauga? Are they for those who apply inland?

Take a look at 2015 and march 2015 outland spreadsheet.
All march applicants which will be transfered to Ottawa or kept in Mississauga already received SA, what makes us think that they have some preference (If it's not just a coincidence, it's a sad thing to think). :(
