Thanks guys! And even though I know better since it won't update until next week, I went ahead and checked eCAS and there's nothing there yet. I'm going to have a hard time resisting checking that all the time...

I did the same when my AoR came.
But I was able to access Ecas 2 days after I received bu e-mail

SA-AOR-....? to be easy for me to follow ..I understood SA means sponsorship approval ..is it right ?

Applied for spouse sponsorship Jan 7th
received Jan 9th
returned on march for missing sig
resent and received by CIC March 27th
until now nothing new ...how could i know any updates other than than call center
The call center's given me a temporary file number starting with XF000
What does that mean??
another question ... when they send for something missing ..this mean is the only one that was missing or they might ask for extra documents ??
according to the processing time when i can expect sponsorship approval

AOR means acknowledgement of receipt and indicates they are working on the first step, which sponsor approval. Once you receive AOR it's 7-14 days to get sponsor approval. You have a temporary file number because they opened your package and discovered the missing signature.

Given the rate they are working now and when you sent your completed form in, I would guess you are maybe two weeks away from potential sponsor approval, but that is just a guess And yes, they could ask for more documents...all they look have probably looked at in this stage would be the sponsor documents so far.
