Once you get your AOR, it will give you a UCI number and an application/immigration file number. To access ecas, you can either use the UCI number along with the sponsor's surname, dob and place of birth or you can use the application number along with the sponsored person's surname, dob and place of birth. If you use the sponsor's UCI and info you will be able to see the status of both the sponsorship application and the permanent residence application, but if you log in with the application number and sponsored person's info you will only be able to see the status of the second part of the application (the part for permanent residence), not the status for the sponsorship approval.Jasmeet09 said:I have a quick question - when we get application number then do we enter sponsor's details like - last name , dob on ecas to check application status or its sponsored details ?
