Ya we've been married 2 years and he's lived with me in Canada since 2006, but I don't know if that has a lot to do with it, there is another member on here with similar application as ours (similar finances, ages, time in Canada) but he took something like 19 months to get his! I think it might be luck of the draw, I really can't say.

Yeah I did see that person's post, seems like an unusual situation. They also admitteldy didn't use the forum very much either. If they had gotten a MP or ordered case notes would have probably turned out differently (Or so we would like to think I would believe )

One thing that's a bit deceiving though is that the posted processing times factors in Quebec applications as well. If you look at the open data excel sheet CIC publishes, you can see that it takes significantly less time to process "Federal" applications as opposed to Quebec ones. Last I checked which was about a month ago that it's 13 months for 80% of Federal Class applications.

Yes this is true, Quebec maybe plays a part in this. Seems like a lot of people are landing in Quebec, any reason for that? Or are there just more of them on here complaining about the system

Can't say I know for sure, perhaps just their SOs and Family located there? Quebec is the 2nd highest in terms of population for what it's worth.

Are there any common-law March applicants who have had DMs or In Process at this point? Or only married couples?

Hello I got SA for common law on july 6, my application was received on march 3, and its beend send to mexico VO

Today's results of my weekly call to CIC as we await SA. I got through right away, the agent looked and I finally got more complete clarity on what happened to our application...it was definitely sent to Ottawa prematurely and is "in transit" back to Mississauga. Once back, it will be evaluated for SA. I said something slightly snarky about how it shouldn't take long to get from Ottawa to Mississauga, and he said yes, but hat until it arrives no one is working on it. So I will call again next Tuesday and hope it's actually "in process" this time.

thanks Luna21 it looks like Mexico VO takes a long time, hopefully they process our applications this month by the way do you now at what point they tell you if you will have an interview?

Hahaha that would be awesome buy I doubt it. They will tell you that at the end. Looks like they actually start working on your app once you get AOR2. This is the longest wait of all, so just be patience I will be happy if my husband gets his visa by December

I have received the GCMS notes today. if you guys can have a look the points below and help me out to understand those points that would be greatly appreciated.
1. For my wife it says "counterfoil required: Yes". What does that mean?
2. Under info sharing it says "Type: Biographic , Partner:, Status: NRT". What does it mean?
3. Under ESDC it says " ORG/Entity ID: O213921827858, Name: Incomplete App Partner checks Required, Type: Organization, Sub Type: Other, Other sub Type Descrip: CPCM data Aggregation, Reason: Other, Other reason Descrip: Members. I am worried about this point. I don't understand at all.

The more people we can get on this spreadsheet, the better the stats will be...and it's helpful to see what's happening to those who applied in the few months before you.

I received an email from my MP today and have been informed that our application was transferred to our VO in Vienna on May 8th. Here is hoping they start processing March applications soon!! And here is hoping all of us get our visas quickly!

Hi...I don't know much about GCMS or CAIPS notes but someone had created a list of acronyms / codes they use and I transferred it to the Acronym spreadsheet when I created it...

1. For my wife it says "counterfoil required: Yes". What does that mean? This is the visa passport stamp and it is required for applicants from non-visa exempt countries.

2. Under info sharing it says "Type: Biographic , Partner:, Status: NRT". What does it mean? No Reportable Trace (NRT)-a report given to CIC when the Service has no adverse information on the immigration applicant.

3. Under ESDC it says " ORG/Entity ID: O213921827858, Name: Incomplete App Partner checks Required, Type: Organization, Sub Type: Other, Other sub Type Descrip: CPCM data Aggregation, Reason: Other, Other reason Descrip: Members. I am worried about this point. I don't understand at all. ESDC is Employment and Social Development Canada. CPCM I believe simply stands for "Case Processing Centre, Mississauga". This part "Name: Incomplete App Partner checks Required" kind of sounds like you missed something on the application and more info is needed. This is pure speculation on my part.
