Yeah I did see that person's post, seems like an unusual situation. They also admitteldy didn't use the forum very much either. One thing that's a bit deceiving though is that the posted processing times factors in Quebec applications as well. If you look at the open data excel sheet CIC publishes, you can see that it takes significantly less time to process "Federal" applications as opposed to Quebec ones. Last I checked which was about a month ago that it's 13 months for 80% of Federal Class applications.
