Guys one of my friends who had applied /family from Edmonton got test letters by post and his ecas has not been updated. So keep checking your posts regularly and do not depend on ecas alone.
the next step is for CIC to transfer it to your local office then they will decide uf you nee to submit additional documents, go to an interview then do the testhamieh said:Today my ecas changed to IN Process what would be my next step and when am supposed to study for the test !
I thought the interview happens on the same day as the test? Has that changed?glowingheart said:the next step is for CIC to transfer it to your local office then they will decide uf you nee to submit additional documents, go to an interview then do the test
they can also request additional Docs or interview after the test
so it could be any time between 3 months to 1 year
I have a friend that was interviewed beforeLux et Veritas said:I thought the interview happens on the same day as the test? Has that changed?

1- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 31, 2015.
2- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 14, 2015.
3- We started processing your application on July 13, 2015.
Thanks,
Are you referring to "Acknowledgement of Receipt? If yes, did you mention your email address in the application? If yes, you might have received acknowledgement in the email and if you did receive it in the email, you won't get it by postal mail. The email will have a pdf attachment that will describe all the information.Rex.Zhuang said:Hi folks,
The ecas shows that they sent me ROA on April, 10 but i still havent received it yet. Is that normal? or should i ask cic office? Does anyone have the same experience before?
No, i didnt mention my email in the application. Although my process now is transfer to local, i still havent receive that Acknowledgement of Receipt so i am worried about it.thecoolguysam said:Are you referring to "Acknowledgement of Receipt? If you can access your application status online on e-cas then it means your application has been accepted. AOR just means that the application has been accepted and it has general information about test etc.Rex.Zhuang said:No, i didnt mention my email in the application.
