Hi Friend ,

Please advice me , yesterday i found i have typo error on dates in employemet history section.
Please let me how i can correct this error in my citizenship appilcation.
I already received my AOR in March 2015.
It may be affect my appilcation. what is process.
Let me know if any one have similar experience.

Most likely it is an RQ

It usually means the new CIT0520 form or a specific document or information they want from you. It will come by snail mail so you should keep an eye on your mail it will list more details on what you need to do and what documents to provide where.

I was wondering why you put smiley faces on the previous note that CIC has just sent a letter to you.

It's probably a RQ, 'mini-RQ' or some clarification.

That may have just put your application on non-routine now.

It could be either RQ - CIT0171 or mini-rq CIT 0520 or fingerprint request or any additional documents request.

Yes it means you'll receive a letter (most probably RQ but not 100%). The wording is awkward but standard- it's similar to the wording I get from CRA letters as well.
Curious where did you apply from (Toronto, Ottawa, etc…)? At least you're in process at this stage which is good.

i'm from burnaby, bc. It's so confusing why do i get RQ? in four years i was out of canada once. Got my pr on april 2011 i have lived more than the required days . No criminal records.
Still waiting for the mail thou. Who does get RQ??? what's the reason? now im freaking out!

Wait for letter it is possible that it is only request for any document related to application may be copy of passport etc.

You should definitely wait to get the letter before jumping to conclusions and stressing out.

As the others have said keep calm and just wait for the letter. Unfortunately there are many potential reasons why people get RQ'ed. But it could be something else so just wait.

Seems like BC applications are going smoothly whereas GTA is soooo slow
