Hi Everyone,

I have sent my applications on January 25, I have checked my eCAS on April 1 and got the following message:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 17, 2015


I haven't received though any email for AOR, is this normal?

Hey YM, how did u checked ur ecas. Bcoz i m trying using my PR number in format of PA9999999 and i dont see any update. And even i haven't yet recieved any email for AOR.

why your application returned first time ?

my application was returned first time bcoz at last minute i decided to re-print my Residence calculator, and i forgot to sign on the new printed sheet so sent my residence calculator without sign.

But my application was returned very quickly first time in 10 days, but now no news for last 42 days.

Got my AOR a few minutes ago. What a relief !

You can check it using the "Client ID Number" which is on the front side of your PR card and takes the form (xxxx-xxxx)

when i try to login using PR card number in format (xxxx-xxxx)

It gives me error msg as
This form is incomplete. Please provide the necessary information below, then send your request again.
Permanent Resident Card Number should be in this format: RA0302123456 or PA0123456.

But if i enter the number on back of PR card as PA0123456, it says we are unable to identify you in system reason could be that your application is still not in process.

BTW i am using identification type as PR Number, am i doing something wrong?

Nope windsor, no updates yet. I am checking spams, ecas everyday but nothing. Planning to call CIC this week.

Anything from ur side?

Hope you get it soon. I got my AOR and waiting to go In Progress. I can't complain as people applied earlier are still waiting to go to next level.

Select the Client ID Number from the drop down when you use the Client ID xxxx-xxxx

yeaaaaaah today i recived the AOR by email 8) 8) 8) 8)
i sent the application 27 March and the office recived it 30 March...today i got the AOR (20 Avril)

It definitely should start move in to in process as its been almost a moth after getting AOR !!

Thanks for the congratz Smile_Canada and sorry for not answering your question earlier. I haven't checked this forum recently.
Hope you get the AOR very soon.

Mine, sent on March 9th, received on March 13th, Canada post regular mail, AOR March 28th, Richmond BC.

March applicants I'm checking my email daily and so far no AOR even though they received my application on March 23rd ,am not sure what's going on with my application !!!do you think they will return it back !!!or what would be the delay reason !!your insight is so helpful
