Is it going to be a problem for me that I didn't enter my PR number in my CIC receipt? My name and all of the other info are there.

Hello Arvin,

Didn't CIC return your application on March 14th for being incomplete. Did you resend it after March 14th?

Cheers,

I don't think so. Your finger prints are already "in the system" from your immigration processing. However if they need them again, for some reason, they will contact you. But generally (routine citizenship application) they are not required.

How long is average waiting time for the next step.

I know many people who got the total process completed in 6 months.

The whole process can take anywhere between 3 months and 3 years based on your luck.
The next step is start processing your application (becoming "In Process"). Again, there is a wide variation here, some reached it in a couple of days while others waited for months. There's no rule.

ecas activated today
