Great News! Congrats! I was looking at the previous months' sheets and it looks like lot of people from Jan batch waiting for the In Progress status. So I guess we will have to wait until Jan and Feb move before we see our status change. :)

Hope the wait is not long... CIC has been moving really fast. My husband's application was recd by them on Feb 25th and AOR recd on March 21st and I recd AOR in 9 days. Don't really understand the procedure they follow, technically they should go in a chronological order, but by the looks of it the pattern is very different.

Just received AOR 2 minutes back (1 Adult (my wife) and 1 Child)

Congratulations !

IT is working after hours, so when officer update any electornic status it goes in a que to IT and IT sends the email accordingly from no reply ... ect.. CIC officer only works during working hours :)

I think the email is scheduled. if they send out emails all at once, it could potentially crash the server.

Hi All,

I have a question regarding citizenship application for a minor. Item 9 asks if the child has been outside Canada for more than six months after becoming a permenant resident and to give details. Now my child became a permenant resident over 4 years ago and I'm applying for her along with my application. My travel history dates back only to 4 years as calculated by the residence calculator. Do I have to put the time before the 4 years for my child? Won't that show as a discrepency between my travel details and hers?

If I've got it all wrong, please advise of the proper way to fill this section.

Thanks

You may want to start a new thread for your question so the seniors can see it. This is a tracking thread for March applicants and not many members follow it.
