Have you checked ECAS?
My wife landed on Christmas Day and just received notice today on ECAS that her "PR card request was approved on February 3, 2015. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you.."

Hmm.. I just checked ECAS and it says nothing about the PR card. Should I contact CIC? It's been 2 months now!

I got my corrected CoPR yesterday, went straight to the border and landed ;D (you can update the spreadsheet O_guy when you find some time)

At last I got the PP back with Immigrant Visa on it!!!! It took almost 11 moths after the submission. Can't express how much I am relieved now. At last the waiting days are over.

:D :D :D :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D

PR card arrived today - we landed on 19 December, so it was a bit over two months. I'm amazed that it got her this soon given how New Brunswick has been whalloped with snow this year.

So, the whole process from mailing out the completed package to PR card in hand took 12 days under 1 calendar year. Fun times all.

Hey all. Hubby had the interview yesterday. He is super pessimist so I don't really have a good idea of whether it went well or not. Sounds like there were only 4 questions that we didn't talk about beforehand. So it can't have been that bad.

They said they have to review things...so maybe the security checks?....and we will have our decision in 2 weeks.

I am not a religious person by any means, but please pray for us. I do not care if you pray to God, shiva, Buddha, Zeus, the devil, Santa claus, the Easter bunny, or Mickey mouse....I will take whatever help I can get.

Love you guys. I'll be back on here in 2 weeks to let you know.

May the lord be with you. Do not lose faith and I'm sure that you will get a positive response.

What questions did they ask during the interview?

Sounds like they pretty much went through the spousal questionnaire and reviewed everything. From when we first met, how we communicate, details of the wedding, my family do we talk about them and what are their names and what does he know about them how old are they, etc, my job, our age difference what we have in common what we do together, why was the wedding so fast, how often do I visit him, what are our plans, the birthdays of myself and the baby, and of course what will you do if your application is denied.

Araganda8, I'm sorry for what you are going through and I hope all goes well for you.

Hang in there, agarand8. Sounds like your interview was very similar to ours. We were also asked to bring extra documentation, but aside from my financials, the visa officer didn't even look at most of what I brought.

Just for an update for the March Applicants document, my husband's passport was requested on October 17th and the visa was issued on October 23rd (submitted and picked up in person). Our huge pile of relationship proof was also returned. He landed here on October 28th, 2014. He still hasn't received his PR card though, is anyone else still waiting for theirs?

Feb.2014 applicant here - Landed 12.25.2014
- Feb.25 (last week) received notice from Sydney NS that our photos didn't meet specifications - they said the photos were over one year since they were taken. Strange.., it looks like others have gotten their cards with similar appl. submission timelines.. - We just took new ones and mailed yesterday. Should take another six weeks :-X

I'd call if I were you.

Holy Crap had to go back 4 pages to find this thread. lol

Havent received any e-mails yet but checked on ECAS and I'm "in Progress" as of March 4th. Nice. so hopefully next week we hear something!

Took a look at the spreadsheet too since I'm back at work part time and WOW that's a lot of colours! hahaha I was updating some of the colours and it looks like lots and lots of people are probably landed already we just didnt hear anything from them after they got their PPR. Thats really good I'm happy to see so much progress.

We waited 2 months before I finally called them and was told they "didn't have a valid address on file." We gave them our new address, and my husband has his card now! :)

yes, i landed aug 29 and still have not seen mine. when i called the syndey call center, i was informed it was mailed out. never received it, so it's assumed it's lost in the mail. so, the first step is to call the syndey call center, and confirm whether it's been mailed. the next step after that is sending a solemn declaration to get a new one. i have yet to follow up on what the status is with that...
