Hey guys, got my first GCMS notes today, good news is my wife passed her medical, I haven't told her yet, but I'm sure she will be thrilled considering she's super paranoid about her health, even though she's young and healthy.

There's also some notes by the VO, wonder what it means?

Hope this means they're shredding my documents, but at least keeping copies of them or something. Glad to know they're at least starting to look at my wife's file.

Hi Mike. It might be worth checking with people in other forums if shredding the documents is a good sign. I would think it is, and it may mean that they are satisfied with your file and no longer need those documents. I am thinking of applying for the notes too.

Hi Mike. It might be worth checking with people in other forums if shredding the documents is a good sign. I would think it is, and it may mean that they are satisfied with your file and no longer need those documents. I am thinking of applying for the notes too.

Yes the more I think about it actually, I think it's a good sign, they obviously wouldn't destroy relationship proof without keeping it on file (they did say something like Sample Sets kept on file, maybe that meant they took samples of my chats and saved them). Can't wait for the next set of notes 2 weeks later to see what else they say.

Different things...

first will be the request for passport.....

then will come the confirmation of permanent residence... that is about after the passport is submitted.....
but may be more, depending on the VO

but in the case of countries that are visa excepted they do not request passport....
then I think they would send the confirmation of permanent residence instead......

each one apply to different cases
