This is off topic, but does anyone know how to unsubscribe from certain threads?

Like when I go into "Show new replies to your posts" There's a bunch of the big active threads that I posted in....one time....lol and I keep getting all of the updates for them. I've been keeping my eyes open for an off button but I haven't been able to find one so far.

Try going back to that thread and delete your reply (top right corner of your post). Maybe then it will not show up everytime someone writes in that thread.

I checked ecas this morning and it says:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 5, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on May 29, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I applied through Paris. Does anyone know how long it will take before I get a letter with the decision? Will the letter come by regular mail or email? I'm hoping it will be good news.

Second, seeing how you just joined today and this is your first post, I think you are doing ok so far.

To answer your question, no I don't know how long the letter will take, and don't think many of us do as we don't have decision made either.

if you go to the original post you made, click modify. below the text box there will be a menu for advanced options (or something similar). In that menu, there will be a checkbox for receiving notifications about replies. Make sure it is unchecked.

Here comes the stress time.
See, I'm what you might call "an idiot". I left my app too late, I submitted in March.
My open work visa expires on July 17.
I am the main income provider in our home.
I am not eligible to extend my WHP. (I'm already 32).
It is not 38 odd days til my visa expires, and I only received my AOR2 from Aus on May 11.
I have le stress.
If you have spare wishes, please point them towards my speedy application process!

Been visiting spousal/family class manila visa office thread and just this week Canada Embassy Manila is already requesting PP for november 2013 applicants, my heart jumps bcoz it just means they're really working too hard for our apps..in God's perfect time ours will be next..woooooot wooooooot...

Just post the dates on here and one of us with permissions will update it for you.

We need the date CIC received the package, the date you did your medical, your Visa office that you applied through, the date you received your AOR and/or SA and if you have your AOR2 already, then that date as well. Annnnd anything else you want to tell us. We all like to hear each others stories. Welcome to the forum.

I applied on March 31, 2014 and got the aponsor approval from Mississauga on May 15, 2014.

Does it make sense to send log of factime logs to London office? What the process to send them?
