I was wondering about your situation as well. I know from studying dental, we learned that TB is prevalent all over the world, highly contagious. Certain countries are having a epidemic...and most persons who have it don't even know. I was told I had TB when a dark mass was found on my lung. I was freaking out, cause it's mandatory that persons studying my program have a skin test and be TB free. Turns out, it was a false alarm and the technician who told me I had TB just assumed that the dark spot on my lung from the xray was in fact tb. Just goes to show that most doctors and probably the cic always needs as much documentation as possible so that there are no mis-diagnosis's.agarand8 said:Yes, I believe they would tell you if the tests found anything. For Gerald it was only that the technician wrote that there was a mass in the one lung and immediately referred us to a specialist. He said he would not be able to send our medical report until a diagnosis was reached and he had all of the corresponding paperwork. If your doctor did not say anything to you, it's fair to assumme that nothing was found and everything was normal.
Btw the dark spot, i learned from my mom, was probably from when i was a child and had whooping cough, and left some scarring.
I hope your application goes smoothly and I think you have put forth a good case even though there are some redflags.
