That is a good question. Several people received the AOR email on Saturday. I think it is some sort of delay in their system that sends out the email a day or so later. Or perhaps there is automated system that actually sends the AOR email a day after a CIC officer puts your email in their system.

Hello friends. I received AOR today. It appears that CPC-M is working hard and is ahead of schedule since my AOR came only 26 days after they receive my application. So keep your chins up and look forward to your AORs. I will look over the spreadsheet and make sure it is up to date for everyone tonight.

Well, now that I recieved the AOR (Acknowledgement Of Receipt), the next step is to receive SA (Sponsorship Approval) from CPC-M. I don't think that will be an issue based on my income and the documents I submitted. After that, things get foggy because I read that once the Manila VO receives an application, they don't send AOR. So I will just keep an eye on my ECAS and hope it is updated.

Yes, I hope you all get it as well and you will. CPC-M is ahead of schedule. But keep in mind that they are just humans and it is possible that they overlook a package and eventually move on to April Applicants. So it is important for all March applicants to keep an eye on the CIC timeline website and once it is over 35 days since you submitted your application, call CIC if you still have not received AOR. Until then, my advice is to keep yourselves busy whether it is working more hours, studying, or even doing volunteer work and time will go by quickly.

guys I got AOR today, it took 8 days for me to get it.

We just received an email from our lawyer and its confirmation that our application was received. Its an automated message from CIC and it contained a UCI number and Application number. we tried to login to check "status" (not like we were hoping to see decision made or anything ) but just out of curiosity. Unfortunately we were unable to login (after x amount of attempts) using both numbers. here is the order we were prompt with on the link from the email we recieved to check the status: On the page we selected "Sponsorship" - "spousal outland" - " UCI / Application number" - "Surname" - "Date of birth" - " Place of birth"

Questions:

Is this email the AOR or receipt of application?

When logging in to check application status, whose information are used? Sponsor or Principal applicant?

Hi MsRuby, ECAS will be unavailable for login until a couple days after you get your AOR or even SA. For me, for example, I couldn't log in until a week after I got my sponsorship approval.
The UCI number you got belongs to the sponsor. If you use that number, you have to enter in the Sponsor's information.
The Application/File number you use with the applicants information
Both give you the same information, pretty much. If the sponsor logs in, they'll see two boxes: one for the primary approval of the sponsor, and one for the PR application for the applicant.
If the applicant logs in, they'll only see their half of the PR application, not the half about sponsorship approval.

Also - ECAS is generally very delayed. It normally is not updated very often. For example, my ECAS says 'decision made' under sponsorship approval and that I'll be receiving a letter in the mail, although I received my approval a month ago
So don't worry that much about it!

Don't worry about the time, I couldn't access anything on Ecas for about ten days after AOR and Sponsorship Approval. The UCI still doesn't work, but when the Application Number and the applicant's details are entered the information is available. I'm going to give it another two weeks for the UCI and the Sponsor information to become active before I call anyone. Your times don't sound unusual for the system to be updated.
